The plans are necessary for the planning and pricing process even for those people who don’t end up building right now.

Our plans make it cheaper and faster to get the pricing and approval needed for your dream barndominium barn house.
You can also save money by starting with our plans and only paying for your changes. (Compare this to paying .50 cents per square foot for your barndominium plans.) You will save by modifying our existing plans versus starting from scratch as well as getting some ideas.

This is a 4 bedroom 2 and a half bath barndominium floor plan based on a 50 wide building.

This barndominium floor plan is based on a 50 foot wide building with no center supports.  The shop shown is 30′ x 50′.
Customize the shop area by choosing how long it is and the number of doors along with the sizes.
Depending on the climate you live in you might not have the water heater in the small area accessed from the shop area.
You might also choose to have the half bath accessible from the shop area and the mud room or just the shop area.
This plan shows access to the walk-in closet for the master bedroom from both the bathroom and room.  You might choose to remove the access from the bathroom to extend your sink area for a vanity.

This is a 4 bedroom 2 and a half bath barndominium floor plan based on a 50 wide building.

When looking at this plan consider using the area in the shop just out side the entry to the kitchen for a mud room area with a built in for shoes and a place to hang jackets.
The kitchen area can also be enlarged by moving the wall in toward the shop area. You can add a large island in the kitchen with an area for stools facing into the kitchen.

Barndominium Studio based on a 24 foot wide building.

This style studio is popular for people who are building the dream shop with living before building the home.  They live in the studio while building their home and then have a guest quarters studio available for visitors, game room or living area for family.
Customize this plan by enlarging the shop and or living area.  Move or remove the door to the living are to the outside along with positioning or removing windows.

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath Barndominium Floor Plan

The following floor plan is based on a 21 foot wide building.  (We can make it wider just let us know how wide you would like it.)
You can customize this plan with a large island for eating as well as more cabinet and storage space.
What would you change about it?  Would you swap the bathroom and bedroom?  How about moving the doors in and out of the living area?

3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Barndominium Floor Plan based on a 30 foot wide building

This plan features open concept but with the dinning room and living room adjacent to each other.  The kitchen island is large enough for stools.
The masterbedroom has a walk in closet.

2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Barndominium Open Concept Floor Plan

This plan has a large kitchen with an island.  Would you have bar seating along the island?

Would you make bedroom #2 wider by taking a bit of space out of the living room?

Maybe enlarge the living area to enlarge the master bedroom, master bath and turn the washroom into a mudroom and washroom combo.  This would also create more storage room in the mudroom.

 

3 Bedroom, 1 Bath Barndominium Open Concept Floor Plan

Thid plan features lots of windows for light along the kitchen, dinning and family room.

The washroom could include a mud room for shoes and jackets by removing the closets.

This plan includes a large storage closet next to bedroom #3.  If you remove this closet you could enlarge the bedroom.

3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Barndominium Floor Plan based on 35 foot wide building.

This floor plan features a Master bedroom with a 5 piece bath that includes a shower and separate room for the toilet.
This plan features open concept but with the dinning room and living room adjacent to each other.  The kitchen island is large enough for stools.
Would you keep doors to the outside on both sides of the living area, or include another in the garage/shop area?

This 1 bedroom Barndominium Floor Plan is based on a  40 x 30 building.

Would you expand the living area or the shop area with a longer building?

This is 2 bedroom 1 bathroom barndominium floor plan based on a 30 x 60 wide building.
Is the shop large enough?  Would you want the bathroom to be in-between the bedrooms?

This is a 2 bedroom 2 bath Barndominium Floor plan for 30 foot wide building with a 30 x 40 shop area.
Would you want to swap the master bathroom and master bath for a bit larger bathroom?

You could also increase the size of the master bath and mud room by increasing the size of the living area.

This is a 3 bedroom 2 bath barndominium floor plan, with a master suite, based on 30 foot wide building with a 30 by 20 shop area.

How large of an island would you like?  Would you have a cook top or sink in it and maybe room for seating around it?

This is a 1 bedroom 1 bath barndominium floor plan for 35 foot wide building.  Plans like this are often used for a living area while waiting to build a larger home on the homestead.

Would you use a bedroom for your home office?  Would the extra room off of the dining area be a craft room?  Would you have the craft room accessible from the shop instead?

The closets in the Wash room could be removed to create a mud room for those shoes, boots and coats.
